Building on the success story BOSS302 races, Ford Mustang Racing offers enthusiasts an affordable way for street racing with the introduction of the Boss Mustang 302S. Limited production BOSS 302S will be the third contest to build the Ford Motor Company Ford plant stories and made to run through authorized Ford Racing dealers purchase. Mustang FR500 race cars were the first in a modern production line Ford NHRA FR500CJ law, aka the Cobra Jet was built.
The 440-horsepower Ford Mustang Boss 302S was developed by Ford Racing engineers and will be built in the International Alliance of automobile assembly plant in Flat Rock, Michigan, the birthplace of the Mustang. This car is based on the Law of 2012 Mustang Boss 302 Mustang Street BOSS 302S is the 5.0-liter 4-valve Boss engine Ti-VCT-powered V-8 and including 6-sources’m speed of 302 Boss section. The power transmission is transmitted to the rear wheels through a Q2 Torsen differential and 3.73 gear. BOSS 302S suspension with two-position adjustment coil over shock absorbers and stabilizer in Ford Racing front and rear.
BOSS Updates 302S contain fiberglass cowl single aerodynamic heat vents, adjustable front splitter and rear wing carbon. A retro-style graphics package Boss 302 is provided with each car in the price and pictures collected from the original program in 1969 Boss 302.
Production is scheduled in the second quarter of 2011 and an order to Ford dealer participating in the Ford Racing Performance Parts program by ordering part number FR500 B302 (performance white) or M-FR500-B302SO (orange) is placed. MSRP for the BOSS 302S is $ 79,000.00.
